August M. Ball is a consultant, educator, facilitator, and mediator who works with environmental organizations, nonprofits, and public agencies on the distance between what they stand for publicly and how they operate internally.

She spent nearly a decade running a national conservation program in Wisconsin before founding Cream City Conservation in 2016, building it into a Certified B Corporation recognized on B Lab's Best for the World list in the Workers category. Her work has reached more than 100 organizations, including the U.S. Forest Service, The Nature Conservancy, the Sierra Club, and the Student Conservation Association.

A formally trained facilitator in restorative practice, nonviolent communication, and culturally responsive teaching, she has served as an appointee to Governor Evers' Climate Action Task Force and on the boards of The Wilderness Society and the Green Leadership Trust. She is a TEDx Milwaukee speaker and publishes the newsletter Building Better.

She is also the creator of The Reset Lab, an international restorative retreat for leaders and changemakers. With roots in Milwaukee, Cebu, and Quintana Roo, she speaks English, Tagalog, Visayan, and Spanish, and works with organizations across the United States.
